Chiappa Rhino revolver 4"?

Regardless of what is said, this sidearm is not on my radar.

Then why even post in this thread? Thanks for wasting space with your worthless opinion but we'd like to hear from people who have actually handled (preferably shot) this revolver.

Sorry newbs, I shake my head when I see "veterans" jump down peoples throats on questions like this hardgoodbye. Your question was not a stupid question, it was a question to which you didn't know the answer and possibly weren't even aware of where to find the answer. This is a gun forum, your question has merit. Honestly, I frequently think about buying the domain name dinksfoundhere.com and redirecting it to this forum :) But alas, there are SOOOO many other forums that people act the same way, holier then though. Your question has been answered though :) Welcome to dinksca... imean CGN! :)

There's a few threads on this if you search, I had high interest in one, still do...

The function first and foremost of this pistol, is that it shoots from the lower cylinder, not the top one like most revolvers, hence the recoil is more straight back and manageable rather than an upward flip. The mechanism inside the trigger, is also quite fascinating. I like unique and interesting firearms that still fire and function common rounds that don't cost $5 a pop and don't require special tooling or knowledge to operate. This fits the bill.

Personally, I think the looks are fantastic, ugly, but in an A-10 ugly beautiful kind of way.

Price tag is awfully high IMO, but, I want one......only in stainless if they ever make their way into Canada. That and after someone purchases my remaining organs of course.

I agree; I love the looks of a Mauser C96 even though, when I first saw one in my teens, I was horrified by it. I thought it was some deformed version of a Luger which has always been my favourite. I now own both. ;)

The Rhino reminds me of a Mateba or the gun from Bladerunner. I think the long barrel version is much nicer than the four-inch; that extra vent in the rib does it for me.

Sorry for the Flammin,,,,but I think it is an interesting take on the classic revolver. I haven't shot one but its nice to see a company trying something different.

Why is it when a guy asks a question people immediately jump on how stupid the question is, without answering him. Is it possible that he is new to the game? Is it possible that he has 12.6 and just doesn't understand that you can't bring in new short barrel handguns? Why do some of you people feel that it is your responsibility to tell someone how dumb they are? Why couldn't you educate?
I've seen quite a few posts like this now, and it is really starting to bother me. Help people understand why something can't be done, and you will have a better time getting a force behind you to change that law. Telling someone their post should be deleted on the basis of stupidity isn't helping anything.

It appears to be more than that. Some take great joy yelling "that's illegal" because as good Kanadians, it is always their instictive first reflex.

Then too, it makes these individuals feel superior in a perverted way. In being able to show others how good and loyal a Komrad they are by having memorized all the rules and regulations of our worker's paradise.

There are a LOT of youtube videos of guys shooting this thing and lots of comparisons with 'regular' revolvers. One guy does a rapid fire with a 2 inch barreled smith then does same with the 2 inch rhino. Slightly less recoil is apparent in the vid. With a full sized rhino there is a lot less muzzle jump when compared to same barreled smith/ruger. Personally I love the look, reminds me of the gun from BladeRunner a bit. It does seem pricey though.
