Chilean 1912 carbine info.

They are very accurate.

I have the carbine in 7.62x51 and the long rifle. Both shoot well.

The long rifle in 7x57 is very good as well.

Of all the different contracts of 98 Mausers built, many people (with very good reason) consider the Steyr actions built before the First World War to be the very best. They are very slick, beautifully made and very solid.

I have shot extensively with a heavy-barrel Match rifle built on one of these actions. It started as a .308 and ended up as a .300 WinMag which makes nice ragged holes at 300. The action handles it with no problems at all.
