Chilliwack Gun Show

Without Canada Ammo there, I can wait for the show. I've found decent deals at the 2 day HACS show before, but the only great deals I ever got was from Canada Ammo. Otherwise all I see is pretty much the same old junk that has been there for the last 5 to 10 years at the same prices.

bout the same always good deals at CanAm, the part that bugs me about the 2 day show is when you see some guys jack their prices WAY up when you have come across there tables at the burnaby show for much lower.........however no registry this year So......those impulse buys may get the better of me now that i wont have to wait to take the gun home as far as long guns go.....damn.

I too was wondering if this show is worthwhile, I live on the island so I don't want to go if its not all that good.

The CHILLIWACK HACS 2 day show ( March 9th & 10th ) is the premier gun show in the lower mainland guys. The ONLY way you will be disappointed is if you miss it.

Nice..If Peter is at the show I can have a go at him for not letting me know about some re-loading gear or answering my email about importing some items:)

Apparently they sold out 575 vendor tables for the two day show. That is two huge barns at the Herritage center fully sold out.
Link to the flyer is here http://www.hacsbc.ca/assets/PDF/Hacs_2dayshow12.pdf

They generally have Military displays of equipment and vehicles PLUS lots of old antique guns, new/modern guns, ammunition, gun parts galore, reloading gear and supplies out the wazoo.
The really cool thins is all the gate proceeds go to a charity of HACS choice each year. Generally some children's cancer fund or similar one.

I'm looking to buy a Tilley hat and a 40.00 dollar set of cigarette smoke scented Tasco scope covers

Because I also have that sarcastic sense of humor I did chuckle at your comment but in defence of the show if you sift thru all the junk there are some good deals there, huge selection of used firearms. I go every year and can easily spend an entire day looking. If you are looking for a hard to find part for an older firearm there is a good chance it will be there. I heard the show will be bigger than ever this year? can anyone confirm this?

Yes confirmed a sell out of 575 vendor tables at the show - both large barns will be full with goodies. that is the most tables to date. Apparently they are looking to rent the third building for next year based on demand for tables.
See you there

Tilley hats - http://www.tilley.com/default.aspx
I have 3 or 4. Great hats. Lifetime guarantee BUT do wash them a few times a year as sweat will rot the sweatband. I have gone through a couple of hats by forgetting to wash them. Pay attention to the sizing instruction. As I recall they suggest buying them a little larger than your notmal hat size. When washing, remove the foam insert and plastic bag with instructions from inside the crown/top. Several colours available. Some have dark underside of brim for reducing reflection from water. From snow as well, but then one's ears will have frozen and fallen off. ;-)

I go for specific things. Got a deal on a 505 scale last year.

This year all I wanted was to get some powder and bullets and maybe some Igman or Privi 7x57 ammo, but work calls for those dates so that idea is blown.
