Chilliwack Gunshow March 7-8

I saw a DA Outlaw with one hammer that wouldn't #### go for $100.

That's got to be an easy fix.

I got an Outlaw with a small chip in the stock and a loose front handguard for $100.00 and made an offer of $80.00 for a JW-20 semi auto browning clone which was accepted. Thanks Canam, I don't know what people are saying about no deals.

I could have bought two chinese SKS's in nice "new" shape for 180.00 apiece. I went back and the seller had got his price of 200.00 each. I also had my pick of russian SKS's for $200, also in very good shape.

There were deals out there to be had. Just had to look and it never hurts to make an offer.

I got a nice condition ljungman for $325 and my wife picked up an unfired smith model 17-3 for $600. There were deals to be had, took 6 hours to find em but they were there

I got a duck call for $10.00 and a copy of the 1969 Gun digest for $1.00

True. I wandered around the Chilliwack show and was unpleasantly surprised by the prices. I wasn't really looking for anything specific (except a G36 bolt head) but it seemed things were generally a good 10-20% more expensive than what one would find in the gun stores around Van.

I was eyeballing that Ljungman, First room in the far right corner? lol . I've always wanted one but I got a C No#4 MK1 long branch instead off that seller which emptied the pocket.

I love this Show, thank you HACSBC!

Somebody got a good deal. I saw a Radom vis35 with a "sold" tag, asked the old lady how much it sold for and she said $450. She said it went "really fast". No s&@t!!

Where was that table? Only Radom I saw was in the middle of the west barm, and he was asking $1000. Sold for close to that too...

Gotta say, it was nice having the cfo there to do transfers so they could go home with you...

Wait, the CFO was there? Did I read somewhere that Restricted transfers where being done in an hour?

I don't even bother looking at restricted firearms at gun shows because I expected much more hassle than that.

How does it work?

It is. I did my buddy's in about 10 minutes. Picked up a backpacker with a forend that wouldn't fit and a loose buttstock for $50. 2 hours later, and it is TIGHT. Like, better than any "factory stock" DA break action I've seen. Thanks CanAm, always a pleasure.

wow, CFO at a Gun show. have not scene that since the 90's

They were there last year too... Have to admit the CFO Office in BC is actually pretty good.

How it worked: you made the deal, the CFO had a hard copy form for you and seller to fill out with all the details. Take the form to their booth, go back in 20 minutes, get your TN and STATT there, take your restricted home! They were even processing prohibs.

I went last year for the first time. Maybe I went with too much excitement, but I definately left disappointed. Too much money, not enough stock (too much junk). I didnt get to go this year, I was at the range.

Got an as new Buckmark .22 pistol for $300. 40 rnds .32 for $35. Walked away from lots of people who wouldn't come down a few bucks on ammo including the table selling loose reloads in buckets. Box that crap up if your trying to sell reloads at those prices.
Buddy got a Norinco pump 12g for $100 from Canadaammo, sights were slightly canted.
