China 7.61X51

I use it all the time in a number of rifles. Works just fine in all of mine. One of my friends has a Savage 110BA that doesn't like it through. Empty casing frequently gets stuck in the chamber.

Works great in my M305. I actually like the Norinco 7.62 more than the Russian MFS ammo - tighter groups and cleaner. This is hot loaded, military ammo and has quite a kick. It doesn't group as well as commercial match ammo but at less than half the cost, who can complain.

All the time in my 1919A4. Good stuff... for the price you really CAN'T beat it. I'm getting 3-4" groups at 100 with a belt fed area weapon... good enough for me!!

Just tried the first 10 rounds of the stuff through my ruger GSR , seems decent enough with iron sites , no excess pressure signs, barrel seems pretty clean on a quick visual inspection , I think I will enjoy the next 1030 :D this is 1992 production , factory 61

The Norc 7.62x51 I have in the 1,040 case is non-corrosive copper washed steel cased.

Shoots well in my semi-auto .308s

My friends Norc M305 is having copper fouling in his chamber because of the copper wash coming off the cases.
Just a heads up. For the price it's still worth it.

I generally use Butches Bore Shine for getting rid of copper fouling. No brush required. Really strong smell though; prefer to use it at the range rather than at home.

Thanks for all the info. Does the Norinco Ammo Run dirty, I don't want to do a full take down all the time with my 305 with the Sage EBR stock. I normally like to do a general clean without dismantling.

I think I put almost 200 rounds of this ammo through my Shorty before I decided to give everything a wipe-down. A little bit more dirty than what my reloads are, but not too bad. A few wet Hoppes patches , and back to work. The gas system had no serious carbon build-up evident
