China Has Been Generous To Sell Us Type 97

I heard someone is coming out with an aftermarket lower that makes it so you can change the grip to AR grips. Not really interested in changing the grips since my hands are small but I'm glad someone is coming out with products for this rifle.

I love it when someone on youtube calls it the EMEI T97NRS. Emei is a mountain in China. notice the mountain logo. Its pronounced, "Un-May"

Short mag looks too short, try to get the 5 round .50 beowulf mag for it, 15 rounds and just the right length you can go as low as you can prone with.
 
I own two Type 97nsr's. No FTF's, no FTE, no failures of any kind. Accurate, light, short, decent trigger, works with all my mags, magpul, beowulf, lar15, etc... Hater's gotta hate, I get that, but my experience has been excellent. I own many, many guns, some pricey buggers, but these have a place in my collection for good.
 
Uhhh Chinese rifle....seriously, they don't give a #### about their troops. Otherwise they would have designed something a whole lot better then this...lol
 
Never looked inside any of these bullpups.. if the T97 really has nothing besides plastic to shield the shooter from a catastrophic failure, I'd never hold that thing up against my face. That's downright scary.

My t97 work with d&h but not with my tapco mags.

The rifle is a lot smaller than I though it was going to be. I knew it was going to be small but not like briefcase small. Here is a picture of the Type 97 with a 5.56 Vz 58.

Does anyone else hear propaganda coming from your Type 97? I'm hearing things like, "You will help build China's Empire." and "You fight for China."

Can't wait to try it out. Probably next week. Until then, I'll continue listening to its propaganda, read the broken English instructions manual, and eat Chinese braised beef brisket.

actually, I read your post and all i could think of was: Czechoslovakia has been generous to sell us CSA VZ 58 sporter in 223.....
