I have seen a few variations of the rifles in chinese pics.. They are not "guard" spicific, in fact a more proper term would be 'parade rifle' as all branches have been seen marching with these.

Slings on side swivel version.

Actually a very sharp looking rifle. I like the mix of black and chrome. Adds a very nice contrast.
