Hi all

I have been collecting the brass that I fire from my ar. It is Chinese military 556 brass. Are these cases even reloadable? If so, is there something that I should be aware about reloading these. My Lyman book says nothing about these.

Can someone confirm that these are 55 grain?

Regards

How many you got.. I reload them all the time :)

you should trim though.. I found case length all over the place. I have reloaded them twice, maybe three times then recycle

no issues.. A s**t case will probably fail the first time, or so it seems with Norc brass IME

If you were nearby I would take them off your hands no problem ---- but 223 brass is almost not worth shipping unless you get a good price for them x1k

I would rate them better than some and have less splits than some

name brand and crimped primer are a pita

Sorry about the late response guys, vacationing in BC

I got about 3 spam cans worth of this brass.

I am going to hang on to them then. If I get 1 or 2 reloads, then they will be worth hanging on to for myself.

Thanks for your information guys!

Regards

I have reloaded tonnes of them with nary a hiccup. Inspect them after each reload and discard if the usual issues come up - same as any other brass. I personally have had good results with Norinco brass. Is it the best in the world? Nope, not even close, but I have gotten 5-6 reloads out of them quite easily with fairly hot loads.

Cool, thanks for that.

I reload it. Range pick ups.

My load is mid-power. I just size and reload. No problems yet.

Here is 4,000 waiting to get loaded.
