Chinese SKS Jamming Problems

I would check over the op rod, spring, and extractor as well. That is a real good starting spot, as is the gas tube for fitment and blockage.

That being said, I am one of those guys that likes buying something to tinker on and spen lots of range time with. I took a rough cycling AP74 and made it better than my 10/22 and more fun to shoot.I have also done this with a few squires. It does get frustrating but when you finally get it figured out and everything starts running like clock work it is an excellent feeling of accomplishment.
 
China made SKS

I had both Chinese made SKS and SKS-D since 1995 cleaned them well when I bought them. I put more then 2000 rounds through both of them never any problems. One little glitch with SKS-D if I put 5 rounds into the magazine, mag catch does not want to engage so I always put 4. It just the mag issue
Both of them group with iron sights about 3 inches at 100m
 
I have a brand new one and it never extracted one shell. I try different brand of ammo and noting. So i cast the chamber with cerrosafe and discover that probably the sizer broked and make an oversize stripe in the neck part. I put it away, it can be good for spares parts. I have two others SKS, one Russian and a Chineese without any problem.
