Chinese SKS retailers - Current best deals ??

Hey guys,

Best friend is looking to get into an SKS, He prefers new as he just got his PAL.

What retailers out there offer the best SKS price right now? Free shipping or maybe a ammo package free shipping deal?
Just want to advise him of the best route, I personally don't know.

Do all retailers now days offer the 306 factory SKS? Seems it was the most common or most numbers produced factory sks.

If you don't mind corrosive ammo, check out the ammo/rifle deal that marstar has, if you want non corrosive i would go with canadaammo.
 
I bought my SKS from a really nice member (dealer) here, rifle (unissued Chinese) was in perfect condition and he was very easy to deal with. Weimajack is his handle, at that time his price was better than most and I could pick the exact rifle I wanted (actual picture of each rifle). If I was to buy another SKS I'd PM him first. I know at least two of the site sponsors above put on some crazy SKS/ammo deals but you get whatever rifle they send you with it. YMMV. Hope it helps

I don't think anyone is offering a Pelican case. A real Pelican case that size would cost twice as much as the rifle! The free case from Marstar is just some el-cheapo flimsy case. It's a good deal though.

Any reason you want a Chinese SKS? I have both, Chinese and Russian, and if I was only going to have one, it would have to be a refurbished Russian. Quality is quite obviously better when you compare them side by side. I paid less for my Russian, too...

The Chinese one is not bad though.
