Chinese sks stock on a russian?

Just picked up my first russian sks and was interested in duracoating everything a matte black. I have a laminate stock but would prefer the look of painted wood, with that being said i have found a chinese stock online and was wondering whether or not the stock would fit mine no problem?

It would fit, the bayonet cutout will be much longer because of the spike bayonet vs the knife bayonet.

Depends - pinned verses threaded barrel Sks stocks fit differently.

There is 1x type of Russian stock fit - in general.
But 2x Chinese stock fits - there are some Chinese stocks out there for the blade Bayo as the first Type 56 rifles had a blade Bayo.

The spike bayo will not fit properly in the thinner blade cutout on the underside of the metal ferrel. Vice versa as well.

The rifle will fit, I dropped a friend's Russian in a spare Chinese stock. Find a Chinese spike bayo and it will drop in. The handguard is a little shorter but does fit.
