Chinese SKS

Only the Yugo's are not chrome lined.

millar is partly right , the late russian came with chrome lined bore but the chamber isnt chrome .

Mine is a threaded barrel, non lightning cut bolt, stamped trigger group, D marked rear sight, spike bayo that has a receiver serial number that is F 111,25** (everything else is stamped F25**, including the stock) and has a fit and finish that rivals my best Russian non-refurb SKS's. It is kind of an odd duck.

interesting , short barrel lug?

My Norinco SKS also shoots fine. Lots of fun hitting the gong at 100 metres. I stay away from the corrosive ammo myself, so I doubt there is 1000 rds through the barrell in the 17 yrs. I've owned it. I originally bought it for hunting deer in the bush. I have yet to do that but feel I could comfortably take a deer with it, as the accuracy is pretty good and the rifle is reliable.
