Hello everyone,

I was going through my safe doing a function check of my collection when I noticed a problem with my Gen 3 Glock 19 TB.

As you can see in the picture, there are chips on the interior of the chamber. It seems mostly on the right side and follows the lines of a bullet. Using a plastic pick, I can confirm its not residue. It's in fact chips in the surface.

A Google search indicated I may not have been on the only one who's run into this - But I'm more curious - Has anyone else in Canada run into this? I'm assuming it's not safe to fire?

I've only cleaned this gun with the nylon brush, Hoppes No. 9 and/or Ballistol. The last time I shot the gun these chips could have been there - But I honestly didn't notice. I've maintained my other pistols in the same fashion and never run into something like this.

Curious on people's thoughts...

Sorry for the pad quality picture... It's a PITA to get a decent one.

Yes, I bought it new. Round count is approximately 2000-3000 rounds. I'm going through the motions to report it to Glock and see what they say. I doubt there's any warranty coverage at this point, but if there's a possibility of a defect they should know. It's really too bad because it has a been a great gun to shoot.
