When the F*** did our ability to order 'gun parts' from the US go into the crapper?

I need a source for a Chaote 870 forearm...any Canadian retailers out there??

i tried endlessly to find a dealer who would bring in the MK5 for a beretta 1201 FP,even trying the importer.i finally went directly to choate in arkansas.they will send to canadians if the price of the item is under 100 USD.no export permit is required for orders under this amount.it took about a week and a half for it arrive in the mail

Funny thing...

I heard back from Choate USA within the last week and they said that they can't deal directly with Canadians. They suggested that I deal with Milarm. Milarm didn't have what I wanted in stock and wasn't getting any new inventory in for another 90 days although they seem like an excellent company to deal with. Tried to help any way that they could.

I sent P+D 2 emails asking about availability and didn't get a response to either.

i called directly Phone: (501) 724-6193 ,spoke to a brenda i think.she took my order,.told me the mail only went out on certain days of the week and it would be in the next shipment.i called back 7 or so days later to confirm shipment and got confirmation.got it put it on,love it.the factory stock is way to long and this unit has spacers.in hindsight, the MK 5 for the beretta was not in the catalogues because it was made for beretta directly.maybe because the dealers had no access was reason enough

i found the original box.the customs declaration and dispatch note -cp72 is signed by a glenda W at choate machine and tool,116 lovers lane, bald knob AR.ask for glenda

sounds like calling them is the best way to go.

the web site directs you to an "International Orders" email address for Canadians to use and then they just tell you that they can't deal with you even though (my order was under $100).
