Choate Synthetic SKS Stock

Anyone have one of these stocks on their SKS? I was debating on buying one for my Chinese SKS. Do they accept 5 round Tapco (or other brand) detachable or will I need to go back to my factory 10 round?

I prefer the wooden stocks but the synthetics, at least the Choate stock I had, accepted the Tapco mags without modification of any kind. It fit perfectly. The wooden stocks might require some trimming.

I cant speak to the mag issue but I have the choate stock and it is oustanding. I think that the mags would fit. Even if they don't you could mod the stock

I have my chinese in a choate folder. Tapco mags fit w/o issue. They are a great stock if you can find one.

I had the choate conventional stock on mine. Works perfect an does accept the Tapco mag. No matter what purists say, its way more ergonomic and better lengh of pull than the tiny wood stock it comes with.

Ok lads you got me convinced. If my Detached Mag fits even better.

I noticed the SKS man sells them for about 70 bucks. Has anyone order from them and did you guys have any problems getting things into Canada?
