Choice between Browning Auto 5 and Remington 11-87

While I own a very nice auto 5 I don't like the back of the reciever just sticking up and I don't dare for the recoil impulse of the barrel moving back. So for a usable gun my choice would be the 1187. As for cool factor the browning wins

11-87. More options available to modify, greater availability of parts many of which interchange with the 1100 which is still in production. The Browning Auto 5 has been out of production for almost 30 years and doesn't have the same flexibility as the 11-87.

The Browning is adored by many but isnt for everyone
It is heavy...the odd receiver shape takes getting used to ....it does point well but if picking it up after others not intuitive
The rowning also has some known issues such as cracked forends and peening its reciever
As me tikned it has veen out of production for some time so parts can be an issue

The 1187....an evolution of the 1100 is a natural pointer ...handles very well ....balanced and a very robust design
Parts plentiful....easy to service

Cannot go wrong with a 1100 or 1187

I love and have many Remingtons ! But always wanted an A5 … theres just something about that A5.
If its a good price on both, id get them both ….

Oh and a remington model 11 is basically an A5… so theres that too ! Which ive also wanted for yeeeeeears .

Git an A-5 in 3” twenty gauge.
Yewll thank yourself……👀🎁
Bought a A-5 20 gauge the side of it says Magnum but the barrel says 2-3/4 so I assumed it was just a gimmick. Found out I got taken and it wasn't the right barrel for a 1200 buck gun.. Took me a while but found a 3 inch barrel just have to switch them around. I A-5 was my grail gun since I was 14 years old so I did solve that problem.
