choke question

i have a stevens that appears to have had a few inches lobbed off the barrel at some point, (measured everything up and its still legal) but now it is cylinder bore, what i am wondering is are there any chokes that bolt onto the muzzle? i dont really want to bring it into the local gunsmith as his rep isn't that great so anything that i can do here is better.

Why? Cylinder bore helps make a shotgun do what a shotgun does best. With some selective and intelligent testing, you can really change your patterns just by using different shot/shotsells. What purpose do you have in mind?
