Grabbed a Patternmaster choke for my savage 301 20g, Win choke, it doesn’t fit flush to muzzle. Think is safe to use? Pretty thin and not supported by barrel, threads well and is seated in barrel. Attached pics and with another choke that fits perfect. Thanks!

If the end of the tube is seated firmly against the shoulder inside the barrel, it would be safe to shoot... but from the pictures supplied it is not seated into the shoulder inside the barrel... if it was it would be seated as deep as the shorter tube pictured.

Most win chokes dont sit flush in my mossbergs either although they screw in and are suppose to be interchanable the threaded lengths were different. I gave away the win chokes amd stayed with actual accu chokes for my mossbergs

It is not hanging up on the sight stud in the barrel is it?? ,not likely as it should give trouble with the original if that was the case.
