All chokes are not the same thread,try one of your Remington chokes in your barrel and see if it is the same as the Colonial,don't force it in,try and contact Colonial and see what they say.....

You can mail order Colonial chokes form Ellwood epps, just tell them the one you have now, and the choke size you need.
there are several different types of Colonial choke threads, so make sure you have the model handy.
