Just bought myself a Hatsan Extremax Escort 12gauge semi. Does anyone know which style of choke I will be able to plug into this thing?
I was thinking something from Beretta or Benelli might fit but haven't been able to narrow it down. Ideally im looking for a full choke that can take steel shot and a extra full turkey choke.

Thanks for the info... Thats exactly what I found aswell..

Update.
I went ahead and bought a Calrson's long range blackcloud choke in the Beretta/Benelli Mobile choke system. Today I opened it up and tried to install it... No luck will not fit !

Does anyone know if the newer Hatsan barrels have change or something.. I am very disappointed.

The chokes that came with the gun say V3.Not sure how to post pics.

I have emails into both manufacturers... On that note.. Anyone want to buy a Benelli mobile choke by Carlson lol

The way I have done it in the past is to use a picture hosting web site and then you link the image there to this site by using the third last box above where you type the message. There are lessons in the Trouble Shooting section at the bottom of the Forum threads.

Thanks for the info.

I have heard back from both companies. Hatsan said the new style chokes are compatible with Remington choke which via online photos look the same.

I also got an email back from Shane Carlson im assuming owner or family to the business. I was told to send both an original choke and the black cloud choke to them and they would find the correct design. Once they found a match they would return the correct one.

In summary for others future reference. V1 and V2 chokes for Hatsan match Benelli Mobile chokes and newer marked V3 chokes match Remington.

The Saga continues..

After sending one of my stock chokes and the Benelli Mobile chokes back to Carlson for inspection, I am told it is a hybrid Remington choke and they do not make one to fit.

I have gone back to Hatsan with this info and they tell me it is the regular Remington choke system that will work. Carlson is going to send me a Remington choke and I guess i will just have to see if it fits.

I not sure how I am going to feel about shooting the gun now though if it does fit.. Wondering if I should get a Gunsmith to inspect it first.

I installed a mobilchoke. it actually fit,Or so i thought. One shot bulged the barrel right before the choke. But i didnt notice until the 2nd shot. That shot proceeded to blow my barrel up along with my 100 choke. So needless to say my gun is now useless, unless i can somehow find a 3 1/2” replacement barrel. Not looking good.
