Chokes for Sinsinati 14" shotguns?

Just because you can, that doesn't mean it's safe to.
I bet they'd throw a careless use of a firearm charge at someone if they caught them firing one without a stock.

(1) Every person commits an offence who, without lawful excuse, uses, carries, handles, ships, transports or stores a firearm, a prohibited weapon, a restricted weapon, a prohibited device or any ammunition or prohibited ammunition in a careless manner or without reasonable precautions for the safety of other persons.

That wasn’t quite my point, my point was that stocks are no more permanently attached than a choke or a muzzle brake. If a bolted on muzzle device that you can remove and still fire the gun doesn’t count towards OAL why would a stock that you can remove and still have a functional gun?

They don’t count a barreled action as a firearm capable of discharge. Look at Lockhart Tactical’s “Master Key” setup.

Another way of looking at it is the stock is needed to have a functioning firearm, a muzzle device is not. This is the interpretation I was told, because I brought up the same thing you just did when I talked to them.
