Hello, I got a Tikka tac a1 and need a scope for it for long range target shooting like 500 yard ,anyone can recommend scope, I would like to considering Bushnell match pro ED5-30, and Arken EP5 or Vortex Viper PST 5-25-50 Ger II, which one is best? thanks

I'd throw the Athlon Ares ETR in the ring as well, for the price (in the pre-high end glass category) it's very well regarded and the Tikka deserves better than an Arken.

Guess it depends what you are willing to spend on it. Zeiss V4 is reasonably priced, there are a bunch of good scopes in the 1500-2500 range that can run pretty hard against some more expensive stuff. I have a Delta Stryker on mine, also own a Tract. Have a Sightron, find the X-hairs maybe a bit thick, but, it works well enough. Hard to say what Swaro is doing, supposed to be new lines coming out at SHOT. I'd maybe look at Trijicon as well. Whole bunch of scopes with similar features out there, for me, mostly came down to the reticles.

How much $$$$'s you willing to burn, the sky is a limit.
My main hobby since late '70s was photography, so I consider myself pretty well educated about a glass vs glass.
In the past half dozen years I bought-tried-and sold over twenty scopes and keep only two for my target ring games (I don't hunt).
All we can give advises, but your eyes shall decide not your wallet .... If I would be you I would try loaning and comparing as much scopes possible.
For shooting 500 y/m I can recommend a scope, not sure for prices in Canada I got mine from EU.... designed in UK made in Japan.
Falcon X50T 10-50x60, rated for 1000 meters.

Clamped in a 20 MOA single piece ARC mount I am dual purposing this same scope between two of my rifles with a couple vertical clicks only.
