Choosing a first set of reloading dies

With respect to LEE equipment and dies, perhaps the kindest thing that can be said is that they're economical and will permit potential new budget-conscious reloaders to get into the game. Many guys who buy LEE stuff quite often end up upgrading later.

That's true, I started with all lee products.

You can't justify spending a lot until you have tried lower priced products, and then a few years later, you know what you want and you know why you are paying more.

bingo, i would be very surprised if half the reloader's didn't start with lee products then move on to bigger and better products.

And some of us skipped that step, and started out with better quality tooling. I have been using the same RCBS Rockchucker that I purchased over 35 years ago. Before that, I used my father's Rockchucker which was his first press, and it is still being used by a friend of mine.
