Hi all,

I just managed to get my RPAL approved, and I want to buy a handgun before they are banned. I don't know much about handguns and would like to advice before buying.

My budget is around $600-900. I only have the budget for one guy, so with the ban this will be my only handgun...

I am currently looking at the CZ P-10 F 9mm as i have found a few in stock still, it's in my price range, and has great reviews.

Does anyone know what the difference between these two models are?

Obviously is black and one is green/black, but one also says c.9MM and the other does not. Is that different?

Any other recommendations for that price range that are still available?

Thank in advance

Looks identical except for colour/price. The small ‘c’ that you see refers to caliber I believe.

Great price for a gun that’s gotten good reviews. Honestly, I’m thinking of buying it myself. Lol

Congratulations! First thing is first - buy fast as in today if possible due to the looming legislative changes. I am new to the handgun world as well but have done a lot of research. For a great full steel handgun I would suggest the CZ 75. One of the most used and respected handguns of all time. Still available at Gagnon Sports. For a polymer I would suggest a Sig Sauer P320. This is a modular gun and will allow for all sorts of modifications down the road. Still available at East Hill Outdoors. CZ P-10 is also a good choice. Good luck!

You are really squeaking in at the last second. If I were you I would buy at the very least, a polymer framed, striker fired pistol. The CZ you mentioned is a great choice. I would not be my first choice but if I were in your shoes and based on availailblty it would be the choice I would make if I could not find a Sig P320 or a Glock.

Okay so it seems like the Sig P320 is the preferred choice from guys here. Let me see I like that it's modular. Going to see if I can find a shop that has it.

Thanks all
