Choosing a Lee Enfield

The only marking I have found is on the band that loops down by the trigger. Which is the number used for the serial number.

After I posted I had seen the image was large. Hope it is ok for the rest now.

That's a perfect size, Hussar, thanks.

Some of the No5's had the markings Electro Pencilled on the side of the receiver. Have you examined it real closely?

evil bubba

but if thats what you want :D

actually once they are bubba'ed, and I have a few they make excellent hunting rifles and the Patt'14 makes an excellent platform for whatever magnum you cna think of. Its got a nice big bolt face thanks to the rim on the 303.

and dressing it up in full wood makes going to a milsurp shoot that much more interesting.

I have a project for one of my bubbas that is similar but its going to be a No4 rechambered to 303/35 and dressed up in full wood al-la tanker enfield. If its going to be a bubba it should have class

I've never been a fan of putting a scope on a milsurp either but if your using it for hunting a scope is really a must have.

Bubba for sure but it looks classy.

Bubba my arse ! It's more original now than the day it was made.:dancingbanana:

Stevo

Thanks for the help. I guess mine is a piece together. i don't think any of the #'s match. The ones ingraved in the buttstock are worn away. The mag and bolt don't match either.
Thanks for your help
