Choosing a stock body

I'd like to do a 10/22 build for a little cheap fun with the lads. I've narrowed it down to three choices:

I am also open to the Krinker Plinker kit.

I have not bought the 10/22 yet so I'm hoping you all might be able to shed some light on these kits. I'd like to get a heavy barrel or magnum but I'm not sure if the kits will fit. In general, any info you can share will be appreciated.

It seems to me that you should just buy the Ruger SR-22 that is all the rage now.
