Well ChopperHead has now joined the ranks of big game hunters, with his first bear, yesterday. for a guy that's never hunted big game before he did very well, one shot with a .303, bang flop. nice 5ft+ dual color phase. I'll let him fill in the rest. Good Job Chopperhead!

What load did you use in the .303?

Winchester Elcheapo 180gr.

was a spinal shot, thus a larger then average exit wound.

Moose_Hunter: Sounds good, you going to boil it? or just find a bigass ant hill? BTW, I belive he is at work, so hold your horses, he'll reply in good time.

European skull mounts usually involve slicing the skull lngthewise, so you probably don't want to do that to a bear..

Or maybe you do.:p

amphib that hide sure is a mess i think i might try to talk him into stretching it out on plywood after we stitch up that hole(i have a kit), but what shuld he do to get all that blood and #### out.
