Chosing between two Norinco 1911A1C, which one is better?

I am having a hard time deciding which 1911A1C to buy:

1) Norinco1911A1 Compact from Canada Ammo ($349):

FYI there is one in EE right now, the old model without square trigger guard and no front serrations on slide, kind of old school 1911 Commander...
I personally don't like the new models from Norinko Commander

It's mostly a cosmetic thing and a bit of a savings if you take the classic trigger guard. I've heard of people grinding down and re-profiling the square guard to round but I've never heard of anyone welding up a round guard to make it square....
I'd go classic and the lower price is a bonus.

I'd go with the CanAm option as I'm partial to the round trigger guard. Not to mention $10 cheaper and free shipping.

Neither... I would get the one with the adjustable rear sight, seen one on EE recently. Epps gets the deluxe model with fiber optic front and adjustable rear for $340

They are both Commander's.
The CanAm deal with 1000 rounds is hard to pass if you are in the market for a .45 1911 clone

I have this one, AND I ordered a combo from CanAm, can't beat that price!!! So, NAA is correct, you need 2, a REGULAR length & Commander length...

The best Norinco value is the 5 inch 1911 two tone. You get a hard chromed frame for $350.Call a gunsmith and see how much it is to chrome a frame. Plus the Norinco steel is as hard as nails.

Yes, BUT the Commander & 1000 rounds is $599...

The regular 1911 & 1000 rounds is a SMOKING HOT $499...

I just got this gun yesterday for $340 + 5%gst. It is in fantastic shape and a real bargain. It is the full size model. I am really impressed with it FWIW.
