Well guys not too sure what to say except that i'm utterly disappointed and quite embarrassed.

My new 3100$ Carbon fiber guaranteed less than 1moa Christensen Arms AR15 is a nothing better than a lemon. 600 rounds in, all firing 55 grain AE, no reloads.
1 in 8 Failures to feed, bullets catching on the feed ramps, called CA they mentioned this is a known issue with all their CA15.
1 in 20 Failures to strike (light primer strikes) causing me to have to mortar the gun to get the live round out
And last weekend my bolt release tab completely sheared off and went flying past my face during a quick 5 round burst.

Wanstalls will try to get it fixed and running, and I'll give them a chance. Kudos to them for standing behind a rifle they sold me, I admire that. Nevertheless I strongly suggest everyone stay away from purchasing this rifle.

wow. for $3100 i'd expect a helluva lot better performance than that.
I expected more too, utterly disappointed, this thing is a complete piece of crap, Norinco would have been better.

Well its a 3100$ lesson that I hope no one else here will have to learn the wrong way, like me...

What initially brought you to purchase this Christensen, as opposed to something like a Daniel Defence or Noveske?

The tested and guaranteed sub MOA accuracy, the bull barrel, the weight and the availability.

I did my homework before as well, checked all the reviews, people were raving that they are just as good maybe better than KAC or Noveske.

Well golly I sure was duped out of 3 grand + tax like a dumb blonde.

I'm gonna save up for a couple of months and get a KAC or Noveske.

Very very unlikely Wanstalls will do either. But I'll see if they can fix it somewhat, and take it from there...

Speak to Gary, i am sure he is gonna take an arrangement to your satisfaction... I almost pull the trigger on one in 308 for the MOA certified but went another route... JP.

Une chance que t'as pas achete cela, leurs produits c'est de l'excrement enrobe de fibre de carbone.

Yikes, my noveske has been flawless as well except when I tried to run 13 rounds out of an xcr 7.62 mag.

Quick question why would light primer strike cause you to mortar?

So if it were to chamber a round you wouldn't be able to manually eject an unfired round either?

No that works I can chamber a live round and extract, I think what's happening is ever so often about 1/20 the round catches the feed ramps but still continues in, slowing down the ramming of the bolt into battery and the round doest quite get fully in the chamber in the right spot and the bolt is slightly out of battery, causing it to become stuck. Since the bolt and round are slightly off it gives me a light primer strike. So I have to mortar.

But then again I'm no expert.
