Anyone running one of these and there comments on them? Don't see much for info and thought they would catch on, they seem to have lots of value in the make up - carbon barrel, composite stock, trigger tech etc.

I was looking for an upgrade last year from my CZ 452 style and 455 ss and handled a ranger, tikka, both bergara and a 457 ss/camo. I liked everything about the ranger but the sloppy bolt thought it should have been way better, the others had stuff didn't like as well except the 457/ss but wanted to try something different. Got looking around again and ended up buying the new camo sitka version and when it got here was relieved that bolt play was greatly reduced from the one I handled a while ago.

Anyway its sitting here thinking what rings and scope would look/function well on it and what ammo it might like, so thought id see what you fellas think of them.

Cheers

I have had one for a couple years now, runs good, I did a test with 13 different kinds of 22 LR ammo, shot them side by side with my CZ 457, accuracy was like every 22 some it likes and some it doesn't every gun is like that, SK 40gr standard was the best with average 5 shot groups at .599 and the best group was .183 @ 50 yards, for gophers I settled on Federal 36gr HP which averaged .735 plenty good for sod poodles. I've got close to 1,000 rounds through it with no issues.

I’m running the MPR rimfire, which is a ranger action trigger and barrel in a chassis.

Great accuracy.
Smooth bolt.
Mags drop free nicely.

My favorite 22 I’ve had thus far.
Running a 2-7 Leupold on it and it’s harvested me plenty of bunnies and birds already.

I purchased one with a CF barrel and it was extremely accurate and the mags are the best that have ever been devised. I bought it from a member here and gave it to a buddy for his daughters first gun. She has become quite the shooter with it. Thousands of rounds do9wn the pipe and no problems so far. Maybe I got lucky but this was my experience. When i say accurate, OCD and own Vudoos X2 and Annies(many) as well as custom built rimfires. The one I owned was easily 1/2 or better always with quality ammo at 50M

That's what im hoping lol, by the specs it should shoot great. I have a CZ 452 that shoots awesome, just might have to play around with it a bit as long as it functions properly. Sure hear about problems with everything but not a lot say good about there stuff out of the blue, or people love to leave a bad review before a good one.

I was looking for a new to me used pickup this spring and I'm a chevy guy and wanted a 16-18 - after reading it sound like every second one has the tranny or lifters quit them lol. But I pulled the trigger on a 16 high country and seems fine to me.
