During the Christmas break I decide to restore/rebuild an pld Model 97 marlin 22 lever action. I bought this 6 years ago on gunnutz and figured I should get at it.
I relined the barrel, made new stocks, made an ejector, I bought a firing pin, casehardened and blued it. I put it together today but I still need to put many coats of oil on the wood but I like the looks of it. I picked up a Lyman tang sight that was a bit rusty and missing a piece but it cleaned up well and fits great.
