Christmas Ballard 22 Project

I sighted in the Stevens 22’s today and they shoot great. They function perfectly and don’t seem to be fussy about the brand of ammo.

Today I took my ballard out and gave it a good run at 200 and 300 yards. I could easily hit the standard BPCR Silhouettes so used my scaled down targets but at 200 yards. Using CCI standard velocity I was knocking them down pretty regularly using the MVA scope. The wind was a little unpredictable so that made it a bit more of a challenge. Amazing what a simple 22 (remember this was relined with a cooey barrel) can do.

Very nice! Great work. It amazing to me, what a 22 rf will do . With the right person at the wheel. There’s a lot of new 22’s that won’t do that.

This is awesome! Lovely restomod, I thought converting an antique rifle to a modern caliber was illegal though, in the case that it's legal I'm going to start looking at that .32 rimfire parlor rifle on gunbroker a bit more... I wonder if irunguns could import it.
