Christmas for myself, first handgun!

Finally I bit the bullet and ordered a handgun to go with my ar-15 and shotty

Thanks to questars 15% off I got a sig 1911 scorpion... Can't wait!

Anybody own a sig 1911? I've held one before but Havnt had a chance to fire one.

I own a Sig 1911 .45 Stainless Carry...very nice firearm, very sweet trigger..

Nice and congrats. I got the 1911 Scorpion Carry a few weeks ago. Its a very tight gun. With remington UMC it sometimes would not go fully into battery. Slide would stay out just by a bit. I just used my support hand thumb to push the slide fully forward.

Probably just needs a little break in and different ammo. Otherwise its a great gun.

congrats! the sig scorpion is a sweet 1911. very cool finish, grips. a nice variation on a classic gun design...you are aware of course, that your first handgun is only the beginning, right? did the salesperson tell you that when you ordered? now begins the rationalization for why you need a 9mm, a 357, maybe a 40.....its a fun ride, welcome aboard!
