Chrome peeling from bores

I recently purchased a used Dominion Arms Outlaw. It has several shooting sessions through it by me now.

I noticed last night after a few 2 3/4" slugs that the chrome was peeling inside of the bores.

I brought the gun home, and cleaned the bores well. It seems most of the chrome or whatever the inside of the bores are plated with has come off.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Sumpin is wrong, alot of shotguns including Berettas have chrome lined bores and the chrome outlasts the rest of the gun. I'd send it back, metal was prolly not prepared properly before it was chromed.
