Chromed receiver

I got a quick question for you guys. Is it possible to sandblast the chrome off from a receiver?

best to remove it as it went on...by electrolysis.....
You can do it at home or take it to any plating shop and they can do it for you
You can sandblast SOME of it off but you will remove more metal that you probably want to. Chrome (if it is chrome) is harder than steel hence the problem with blasting it off.
