Chrony recommendations?

Did nobody read the original post. FFS. An RCBS chronograph is not a Chrony. Not the same machine, i have not used one or seen much info on the RCBS machine.
 
I do believe he wanted recomdations on other brands as well if we thought something was better perhaps I read it wrong but he was thinking about the rcbs.
 
I have owned and tried other chonographs through the years and always found something to complain about or had problems. I then bought a Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph. I am certain that this is the last chrono I will buy. I use it with and without my smartphone.

I had only problems with the RCBS, used it a few times the went out and bought a Chrony, It works great. Never thought of shooting the RCBS but it sounds like a good idea.

Over 8 hundred to your door. Too rich for me. Like I said, got mine when they came out. (shooting chrony). Cost me $115 then in 1987; tyey are the same price now! Never get errors except for low battery. I've shot thousands of rds over it----don't understand how you could actually shoot it. Having said that I saw one hit by a gas check that separated from the bullet----cracked the display, but it still worked. Maybe they don't make 'em like they use too!
