Church Security Ammo?

Couldn't you just call down a thunder bolt?
Marginal overkill? lol

Seriously though, it is no different than any other location: you look at the situation & people involved and pray for the lives first... pray you don't put a bullet hole through the antique stained glass window of the Resurrection second.

Anywhere with a "gun free zone" sign hanging you will also find a room full of easy targets. Those things might as well be dinner bells for criminals.

Ask the monks at the Abbey of Lindisfarne how they felt when the Northmen (ie Vikings) sailed over the horizon, beached and violently sacked the monastery. Oh wait. Can't ask any of them. Beside happening a millennium ago, they were all killed.

Since I posted my comments on the S&W forum, there have been no new responses. I think I made the point re: a church being no different than any other "Gun Free Zone" and that it would make more sense to deter entry as opposed to discussing which ammo to use against an intruder.

It's a moot point for us in a country where we don't have CCW laws, but it will have more relevance the first time a mass shooting occurs in a church. It was reported in an item on the CFD that over 96,000 Christians were killed in 2016.
