Now that they've been on the market for a while, what's the general opinion of the Churchill 206 OU?

I've read the early impressions and comments on CGN, but am interested in knowing how people feel about them after a few thousand rounds on the range.

There's several regular shooters at my local club that haven't had any issues with theirs. They shoot 3-5 rounds of skeet each week
The fit and finish is quite nice

I have over 1600 rounds through mine in less than a year and have had no problems. I got it with the intention of using as my field / bad weather / backup gun but now I use it for trap, skeet, sporting clays more and more. I shoot every week and like to rotate my other o/u's and semi's otherwise I'd have many more rounds it. It's not the same fit and finish as my 686 but it balances well and comes to the shoulder nicely (silver 28" model). Very stiff when new but with time and a little tinkering it will smoothen out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it in that price range.

I had one, bought it as a skeet/sporting clays gun. They are very well made for the money, I shot it weekly for a couple of years(4 -6 rounds a week) then sold it when the novelty of "needing" an O/U to shoot skeet wore off. Never had an issue with mine, was still stiff to open when I sold it, had no issues with cheddite primers, took Remchokes and had nice walnut on it. Should I ever feel the need to own an O/U again, will probably buy another.
