Churchill/Canuck/Weatherby PA-08 barrels interchange?

My understanding is the Canuck/Churchill Turkish shotguns are based on the Weatherby PA-08. So, do the barrels interchange between all of these guns, or are they "based on" versus being an actual "clone"?

I'm thinking of picking up a Churchill with a 12.6" barrel or a Canuck with a 14", but I'd like to be able to get a longer barrel for less tacticool operations.

Thanks. So they're likely all totally different and the action is only functionally the same.

Has anyone actually done it though? Searching only produced some indications that it might work.



It seems a bit of a shame to me that the importers of these aren't getting some other barrels made for them too. Maybe I'm not their target market?

Some places offer a 28" barrel for the canuck. They were about a $175-200 depending on the source.

Hmm, I'll have to keep looking then. I've seen one place selling a Canuck with a 28" barrel, but no separate barrels.
