CIL 300 Cycling

Hy

I got a 300 CIL /Anschutz for a range buddy and with neither of
us familiar with semi--autos figured it best to consult CGN.'

When the final shot is taken and the magazine (10 round)
is empty the bolt should lock open Correct ?

The mag release will not let the mag fall out , does the bolt
have to be pulled back & held open then operate the release
to remove the mag ?

Any other suggestions of operation wisdom ?

The bolt should stay open after the last shot, mine does. I hold the bolt back then press the mag release and pull out the mag

Xlnt , that seemed to be right when we cycled it , a little disconcerting
when it would not release without assistance.
