CIL 310 scope mount question

Looking to mount a Leupold VXI 4-12x40 on a new to me CIL/anschutz 310. Would prefer to use Leupold rings. Does anyone out there know if I need medium or high rings?

Find the OD of the objective bell of the scope and find the height of the rings (high 0.98" or medium 0.85" ?) and plug the values here http://www.mil-rad.com/scope_ring_calculator

I think you need high rings to keep your rear sight on. I put high and could show you but I had to pull it off for a bit. Will get back to you.
