Bought a used 16 guage CIL 402 knowing the ejector was not working. I have found all the parts online for sale but don't know how to assemble them. Cant find a schematic or assembly/disassembly video. Looking for help please. Thanks.
Ejector spring plunger with spring. Relationship to jointer shown.
Pin that Jointer is retained by/swings on standing proud.
Perpindicular pin on main hinge pin (I dunno official name)
The "T" shaped piece (ejector spring plunger) and spring (ejector spring) press on the Jointer (pined in below ejector, it moves on this pin). The jointer transfers movement to the ejector. In the reciever there is a pin perpendicular to the main hinge pin (pic #4). When the gun is opened, the swinging over this pin moves the ejector.
None of it will budge without the forestock installed!!!
Thanks that's awesome! And I only need about $16 worth of parts. It came with only the ejector plunger and ejector. None of the spring, pins or joiner. I'll post link to parts later tonight for people who need them
So I found the parts through trade ex. The cil 402 is the same as the Remington 812 just branded by the respective companies that imported them from what I understand. So go to trade ex webpage and they have the parts and schematic. Minimum $25 order though so had to buy a mora knife to complete the order.
How do you assemble these? I have all the parts but i cant manage to compress the spring enough to get the plunger locked into the jointer. Whats the order of assembly?
