CIL 402 question...

Hello all!

I recently acquired a CIL 402 single shot in 20 ga. and I am wondering if anyone can comment on whether the barrel from a 12 ga. of the same model would be interchangeable?

You might get lucky but I wouldn't expect a drop in fit. I have 3 of these guns, two will interchange barrels while the third will not and while I as well am looking for another barrel I am prepared to have to do some fitting.
The barrel channel in the forearm is sized to the gauge, something to consider.
 
I have a 16g and a 12g and they do not interchange. Are you guy's having a problem with finding the plastic spacers that go on the end of the forearm? I been looking for them for a few years now.
 
I just checked and the 12g will not fit on a 20g receiver.
Love those guns, I have all gauges from 410 on up.
Great gun to take on a stroll through the woods.

There is a fellow on the EE selling cooey 840 forearm spacers machined from steel. I'm wondering if these would fit on the 402? I recently picked up a 402 in 16 gauge and it is missing the spacer as well.
