Curious if anyone out there has run into this model and if so are there any aftermarket stocks available , I was thinking a Savage 11 series could do the trick ?

Thx

True it is a savage 110, but it is a J series, only made for a couple of years and has a non standard action hole spacing. Boyds stocks makes a stock for that action but you have to dig through the cross reference page to find the specs for it.

The bolt head is also slightly different and the retaining pin is in a different location, so changing to a different size bolt face is nearly impossible, your year of manufacture should be around 1955-1958 if memory still working

Gunpartscross reference page says it's a 110 C or D. Not a lot of aftermarket stuff of any kind made for 'em. Rummage around on their site.

If it's a 950 T single shot target rifle, the action screw spacing should be 4.525".There were 200 in R.H. bolt and 25 in L.H. bolt ordered by CIL in 1970 for the Dominion of Canada Rifle Association.Originally issued in 7.62x51 with 1in 12 twist. It came with 2 barrels, one Savage, one Anshutz with a round barrel nut for quick switch and adapted for Parker Hale sights.
About the same time CIL also ordered 275 model 950C's ,basically a model 110C series J "flatback",made between 1966-86[second version, first was 1958-65] both models are a bit rare.
