I have the opportunity to pick one of these up. Checked the rest of the posts here and found some info online. Hard to find pics that match this rifle. The stock has a seperate colored piece on the fore with a white seperation. The guy is asking $100 I'm hoping to get for $75. The stock is in pretty good shape and bluing is decent. The bolt slides nice and smooth. On sliding the bolt forward I had to take the safety off and depress the trigger. The extractor is under the bolt and looks like it's in great shape. I haven't been able to shoot it yet. The sights are in tact.

I want it for my son to start practicing target shooting. Any thoughts?
 
75$ for a basic Anschutz in good condition...Can not be wrong on this one IMO. Have you checked the bore? If ok, well..... even at 100$ its a fair price.

I didn't have really good light but there was no evidence of pits. It wasn't super shiny (probably hadn't been cleaned in a while) but I could see definite rifling.
