The CIL is in good condition used, the others NIB. Will be used with a scope for plinking, longer range target shooting for kicks (200yds or so), field shooting, etc.

Considering accuracy, stock trigger and build quality, which would you choose and why?

Thanks,
Mark

The CZs look amazing and have that really cool little mauser action. Heavy barrels are available. The stock triggers are fairly horrid but can be improved.

The CILs are much cheaper (but their used), they are made by Anschutz (1415-1416). The CIL trigger will never be beaten by the CZ.

Build quality is pretty similar between them with the slight edge to the CIL (or older BRNO).

Thats my take after owning a CIL and handling/shooting a bunch of CZs.

If I was going to spend a decent amount of change on a hunting rifle it would be a CZ FS. If I was shooting off a bench then it would be an Annie all the way.
There is always a CIL180/190 if you don't mind a single-shot.
Cheers,
Grant

Savage with the accutrigger and bull barrel....you will not be disappointed. Out of the box ( before improvements to other brands) most accurate gun I have ever shot.

I use a savage 12FVSS now for the "over 200 yard" shots when critter shooting. Literally the same gun just older and it has outshot many other brands of rifles I have tried. target shooting is a breeze too. 69 gr bullets make a ragged hole at 100, under 1 inch at 200.

Got both 310 and CZ453...I love both of them. The trigger on the CIL is superb. If it's in good shape..I'd grab the CIL now, and get yourself a CZ sometime later. Never can have too many rimfires.

We think alike, I just bought the 310 and I agree there is no such thing as too many rimfires. I currently have 5 rifles and 2 handguns in .22 rimfire. It is such a great training/practice/plinking/low cost round that nothing comes close.

Update - the 310 Arrives!

I just got the 310 today, it was a package deal with an older Bushnell 4200 4-16x40AO. What a superb rifle, old world craftsmanship, super slick action and a scary light and precise trigger. I have handled the Savage BTVS and it is no comparison with the 310. If it shoots as well as it looks, it will be a winner. Now I just have to wait until the weather breaks to get out and test drive it.

Color me completely happy with my choice, thanks to all who voted for the 310 and sold me on it.:D
