firearm will fire if bolt is shut fast or slammed closed. Most likely weak spring that supports the sear. Can anyone tell me how to take trigger apart to install stronger spring.
Some work may have been done on the trigger group where too much material was removed. I would look at the amount holding when cocked, with the action out of the stock.

Trigger may only require adjustment. Most Anshutz rifle triggers have an adjustment for sear contact. It sounds like yours requires more sear contact to prevent it being "bumped" upon closing the bolt......I'ld recommend taking it to a gunsmith as he'll be capable of telling if it has been modified, is original, and exactly what is wrong....

The gun was purchased, second hand and I put a lighter spring in the darn thing. Trouble is I now want to put the original back in and cannot remember how I took the trigger apart the first time. As for model number all it says is CIL Montreal, imported from Anshulz. Cannot see a model number or name anywhere.
It is probably a model 180 (a 64 action). If so the trigger is adjustable but since you put a lighter spring in it, you have to go to a competent gunsmith to install an original spring and after this have it adjust the trigger to suit your need. Most Anschutz don't need another spring; you just have to adjust the trigger.
Thanks everyone for the help, but been a CanadianGunNutz, I just could not leave it alone and take it to a gunsmith. So, after much thought and study, I started taking things apart, and would you believe it, I didn't lose a thing. Replaced the original spring, put things back together in the reverse order, and bingo, I had a working trigger again. Just back from the range and every thing is working properly. Now about that heart surgery.
