I was at the range tonight and got to try a CIL Model 190. The stamp said it was made by Anschultz.

After using the heavier Anschultzs, the CIL was an eyeopener to shoot. I need to adjust the sights a bit. I was great to shoot!:D

Does anyone know the Anschultz model number?

I also got a CIL Anschutz....fun to shoot...right on..clips are expensive and don't feed well.

190's don't take a clip. They're a single shot so you must have another model.

I have a 180 and 190 single shot, and a 310 with both a 5 and 10 shot clip and that one feeds well for me. And it's very accurate too! I have to play around with it a bit more yet to find out exactly how much it really is but first time out it's one hole at 25 yards. My Brno Varminter does that well too! :D So I'm trying more brands of ammo in these guns and extending the distance to 50 yards next time.

My Toz-78 is shooting really bad groups though. :( Try 4 or 5 inches at 25 yards!!! Perhaps it's ammo particular or I need to try some sanding and floating the barrel.

A 190 uses the Anschutz 64 action.
Most of the less expensive Anschutz rimfires use this action.
Some 190's have a lightweight target stock, almost sporter. Others have a full, deep target stock.
Depends what you are looking for. Also, do you want new?

I'm a newbie to the target .22s. The 190 is the lightest one I've shot so far and it was much more comfortable and easier to shoot.

I have yet to get to the point of purchasing but your opinions are appreciated.

For now I'm just going to have fun at the club!
