CIL Model 300 / model 520 Anchutz Reciever

Hey all,
Does anyone know where a person could find a CIL Model 300 / model 520 Anchutz Reciever? My Dad has this rifle but it has a small crack on the rear of the reciever. I would like to get this back in working order for him. Any thought on repairs would be appreciated as well.

Rimfire semi-auto? Black crackle finish paint? Aluminum frame?

Lots of them went to the gun-parts guys because of the cracks. Unless you know a talented TIG welder, and a machinist, that will both work for not much, just leave it be, and maybe buy him a new rifle to shoot.

For a while, I was getting the barrels from these for $10 or so each. There were a lot of them around because of the issues with the frames cracking.

If the crack does not interfere with use, use it. As long as the bolt stays lined up on the chamber, all the forces are contained in the breech end of the barrel, and the receiver just acts as guide to the bolt travelling back and forth.

I'm a machinist and the neighbors a welder(pretty handy with tig from what I here) I'll get him to look at it. The crack is at the very back of the receiver where the stock bolts on. I'm thinking tig or silver solder but another receiver would be better.
