I've had this CIL Anschutz 310 here for probably 8 years or more and might sell it.
I shot it once that I remember, maybe twice.
What's it worth?..without the scope of course.
I also have 2 Anschutz 10 round mags for it.

Prob a good price range. Five being on the low side. Have mine since 1974. $ 87.95 plus tax when I bought. Mine has the schnabel forend. Good shooter, no heavy bbl required.

Al Flipo is probably right, with a high of $600 not out of the question. It's a 1965 rifle and in decent shape for a .22LR over half-a-century in age. It's appeal will be with shooters who like a genuine walnut stocked bolt action rifle that should be quite accurate. Shooters who prefer tactical style .22's won't appreciate it's classic styling and build quality.

The original MSRP was probably less in 1965 than it is shown in the ad below.

Hi,
I love the 310's. Note the rear sight in the advertising pic that was posted. The earlier 310's (Anschutz 1416) came stock with a banded rear flip up sight and schnabel forestock (have one just below the 500000 serial number (the others are earlier). Some later ones (post 500000 that I've seen) came with the 184 barrel, ramp sight, and squared forestock. It seems almost like they were buying up whatever Anschutz could assemble at the price point they were after. The 184 barre was also used on the CIL 125 and the CIL 167 and I believe on the 121 - so there were a lot in Canada. The keyway on the two were different sizes if I remember correctly as well. I'd have to measure them to confirm though.

My guess is that given the sight on it, it's a price-point thing from Anschutz using up spare parts (although an owner might have done it I guess).

On yours - Does the stock have a recess cut for a band in the area of the rear sight?

I paid $525 for my last 310 which was shockingly mint and a five digit number. I've also paid that much for a CIL 125 in mint shape though... so .. whatever the traffic will bear seems to be the maxim.....

For what it's worth...
